Visitor Parking

Visitor parking can be found in the Area 5 Visitor Parking/W23 Parking Deck at the corner of State Street and 10th Street ($2/hour, $15 max), or the Area 4 Visitor Parking lot at the corner of State Street and Ferst Drive ($2/hour, 4 hour max). Visitor Lot Map

Directions to Georgia Tech and IBB by MARTA

From the MARTA Midtown Station, exit the the south entrance/exit (Peachtree Place) where you will wait for the "Gold Route" the Georgia Tech Stinger bus. You will exit the bus at the Ferst and Atlantic stop, in front of the Nanotechnology Building (at 345 Ferst Drive).

The GT Stinger Bus can be tracked using the Passio GO! app or browser. Search for Georgia Tech under the "Agency menu." The Gold Route services IBB and MARTA. You can also use the Emory-GT route (shown as pink in the app). It picks up and drops off on the north side (10th street) of Midtown station. The GT Stinger Bus schedule can be found here.

Directions to Georgia Tech and IBB by MARTA from Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson Airport

The MARTA station is located directly next to the baggage claim at the airport. The fare is $2.50 and takes around 30 minutes to travel from the airport to the the Midtown Station

Georgia Tech's complimentary transit system, the Stinger Bus, provides guests transportation arriving and departing from the Midtown station. The Stinger also makes stops at the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center and the Renaissance Hotel.

Driving Directions

Southbound on I-75/I-85

Exit at the 14th/17th/10th Street exit and follow all the way to the end (staying to the left whenever it splits off for 14th and 17th Streets) and take a right (west) onto 10th Street; travel west to the fourth traffic light; turn left onto State Street. You will see the entrance to the Area 5 Parking Deck/Visitor's Parking on the left-hand side. This is a paid lot with a visitor's entrance. To walk to the Petit Biotech Building, exit the parking deck on the Atlantic Drive side (opposite the State Street side where you entered the deck). The Petit Biotech Building is located a short walk up the hill from the parking deck at the corner of Atlantic Drive and Ferst Drive.

Northbound I-75/I-85

Exit at the 10th/14th Street exit. Turn left onto 10th Street; travel west to the fourth traffic light; turn left onto State Street. You will see the entrance to the Area 5 Parking Deck/Visitor's Parking on the left-hand side. This is a paid lot with a visitor's entrance. To walk to the Petit Building, exit the parking deck on the Atlantic Drive side (opposite the State Street side where you entered the deck). The Petit Building is located a short walk up the hill from the parking deck at the corner of Atlantic Drive and Ferst Drive.
